Accepted Payment Methods

Updated in September 2026

Individual educators pay for Premium via modern digital payment methods, while schools and school districts pay via institutional invoicing. Premium costs $2.49 per month; the first month is free and requires zero payment details.

Individual Teacher Checkout

During your 30-day free trial, no payment method is requested. When you choose to upgrade:

  1. Open Account and navigate to the Subscription & Billing tab.
  2. Select Premium for $2.49 per month.
  3. Enter your preferred payment method on the secure checkout interface.
  4. Accepted methods include major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
  5. Card information is processed securely by our PCI-compliant payment partner; ClassHelper never stores or views raw credit card numbers.

Data Isolation and Payment Security

${stripeSentence}

  1. Review the service provider overview in our Privacy Policy for full details on data retention and processing terms.
  2. Billing data encompasses only necessary transaction records: cardholder name, billing postal code, transaction timestamps, and payment amount.
  3. Classroom teaching materials, student rosters, notes, and lesson layouts stay on your device or in our secure German cloud databases. They never reach payment gateways.
  4. This absolute separation allows school administrators to approve software purchases without student data compliance concerns.

Institutional Billing for Schools and Districts

School districts rarely pay teacher subscriptions with individual staff credit cards. ClassHelper supports standard institutional purchasing:

  1. Request an institutional quote through our School Licensing portal.
  2. Provide your district accounts payable address, institutional email, and purchase order (PO) number.
  3. Your district receives a single consolidated annual or semi-annual invoice covering all faculty seats at $1.49 per teacher per month.
  4. Payment can be submitted via district wire transfer, electronic bank ACH, or institutional check.
  5. Setup and administration are described in School License Setup.

Summary

Teachers pay via credit card or digital wallets through encrypted checkout, while schools receive unified purchase order invoices. Billing records are strictly isolated, and student data is never shared with payment processors.
