How Classroom Quick Links works
Classroom Quick Links solves the daily frustration of getting thirty students onto the correct educational web pages. Instead of writing long web addresses on the chalkboard or having students search through cluttered browser bookmark bars, teachers curate an organized collection of colorful, labeled link tiles directly on the classroom whiteboard.
Each link tile features a distinct didactic icon, a clear website title, and a customizable background color. Tapping a tile on an interactive display opens the learning resource in a clean browser tab, while students with 1:1 devices can scan an optional popup QR code to load the identical page on their screens.
Step by step
- Launch your ClassHelper whiteboard on your interactive display and add the Quick Links widget.
- Click Add Link and enter the title and web address for your desired educational platform or exercise.
- Select an illustrative icon and assign a subject color like blue for science or green for mathematics.
- Arrange your tiles into an accessible grid or compact list view matching your screen layout.
- Tap any tile during your lesson to open the tool, or reveal the scannable QR code for student devices.
Using Classroom Quick Links in the classroom
Curating daily subject stations. Set up dedicated tiles for your daily rotation stations, including the classroom reading portal, digital math practice, and typing tutor. Students rotate between physical tables and tap into their assigned web activity independently.
Safeguarding web research. Directing younger students to search engines often leads to off-task browsing or unvetted content. Pinning approved research archives, digital encyclopedias, and museum collections keeps student inquiry focused and secure.
Streamlining guest teacher days. Supply guest educators with a single screen containing all necessary digital curriculum links. Substitute teachers can launch interactive textbook units and video clips without needing access to personal browser bookmarks.
Pairing with QR codes for 1:1 laptop rollouts. Use Quick Links alongside our Classroom QR Code Generator to display instant device access codes. Students open shared research pads and collaborative documents simultaneously without teacher intervention.
