Open the Digital Whiteboard
ClassHelper runs directly inside standard web browsers without software installation or administrative IT permissions. A single click opens your digital whiteboard ready for instruction.
Launching the Canvas in One Click
- Open a modern browser on your classroom computer or interactive board (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari are supported).
- Navigate to
classhelper.app. - Click Open Whiteboard in the top navigation header or on the homepage.
- The digital whiteboard canvas opens immediately. No email address is requested and no onboarding popups block your screen.
You can immediately place tools from the bottom bar, as described in Using Classroom Tools. If the canvas is empty, a gentle hint prompts you to select your first widget.
Adding a Classroom Bookmark
Saving a bookmark on your classroom desktop computer ensures you can launch the whiteboard instantly without typing URLs:
- Open the whiteboard in your browser.
- Press Ctrl + D on Windows or Cmd + D on macOS.
- Save the bookmark to your Bookmarks Bar with the label Whiteboard.
- Ensure the bookmarks bar is visible by pressing Ctrl + Shift + B (or Cmd + Shift + B).
On iPads and tablets, tap the Safari Share icon and select Add to Home Screen to launch the whiteboard like a native app without browser URL bars.
Fullscreen Projection
- Press F whenever no text field is selected to activate true fullscreen display.
- Alternatively, click the fullscreen expand icon in the top right toolbar.
- Press Esc or F to exit fullscreen mode.
- Press K anytime to open the complete reference list of keyboard shortcuts.
