Extend Your School Free Trial

Updated in September 2026

ClassHelper provides schools with a six-month free trial covering a full semester of classroom teaching. If your trial concludes during summer break or district purchasing requires additional evaluation time, you can request an extension easily.

When to Request a Trial Extension

School districts encounter unique procurement timing challenges. An extension is often the best choice when:

  1. The initial trial period ends during school holidays, giving teachers insufficient classroom time to test the tools.
  2. District committee reviews, technology evaluations, or data privacy assessments are still ongoing.
  3. Instructional software budget allocations are locked until the upcoming academic fiscal year.

How to Submit an Extension Request

Submitting an extension request takes only a moment through our Contact Page:

  1. Send a brief message with the subject line School Trial Extension.
  2. Include your school name, district address, and the current trial expiration date.
  3. Provide a brief explanation of your timeline and your requested extension date.
  4. Our institutional team will review the request and confirm the updated trial end date via email.

What Happens When the Trial Concludes

There is never an unexpected cutoff where teachers lose access to their lesson boards. The core whiteboard tools and locally stored lesson plans remain fully functional and completely free:

  1. If your school chooses to purchase volume licensing, pricing is $1.49 per teacher per month, billed via single school invoice.
  2. If your school decides not to subscribe, teachers continue using the free browser whiteboard with all 35 classroom tools intact.
  3. Individual educators who want cross-device cloud synchronization can upgrade independently for $2.49 per month, as detailed in Premium Features.

All instructional data remains safe on local devices throughout the evaluation period. District administrators can review further specifications on our School Licensing overview.

Summary

If your six-month evaluation period needs extra time, request an extension through our contact desk with your school details. Even without an active subscription, core whiteboard tools remain completely free for all teachers.
